We are a Hungarian/English family business based in Tiszaszentimre, a small village in the Tisza Lake region of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County in the east of Hungary.
Combining our farming background and love and knowledge of cheese, we have sought to bring a traditional and delicious British Cheese recipe to the Big Hungarian Plain!
St.Imrei Cheddar is produced from the milk of our Hungarian Simmental Cattle, who graze on the Hungarian Plain for most of the year. Their milk has a rich, creamy taste which is perfect for cheddar cheese.
The family farm also produces cereal crops and works with Hungarian Grey Cattle, pigs, sheep and horses.
